Beaudry Boulevard is a bit of Santa Barbara in our midst with a canopy of evergreens along a manicured esplanade.  It was here that Mr. M.C. Walton commissioned the building of this classic two story cross gable Spanish in 1931.  The original character has been carefully preserved while tastefully updating this beloved home. 

The formal entry has a perfect debutant stairway and opens to the left to a grand formal living room with a high ceiling, tall windows, hardwood floors, and a gorgeous fireplace.  Off the entry to the right is a truly elegant dining room that is formal as well.  

The kitchen is a show stopper with Verde Lavras granite counters, new wood cabinetry,  tile backsplash, new wood floors, and high end stainless appliances including a Viking stove.  The ground floor also has a large family room overlooking the lush rear grounds and a full bedroom suite.  Upstairs there are two great bedrooms with wonderful natural light, a huge master closet and a full bath with preserved original tile.

Just to mention of few items, there is a Spanish tile roof, two-zoned central air and heating, an upgraded electrical panel, a California basement, a detached two-car garage, and a beautiful backyard with a large grass play yard and an outdoor dining area.  This is just a wonderful find within a fairway wood of the Oakmont Country Club.
